Healthwatch Greenwich are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. This report details patient and provider observations of the NHS in the borough.

Kemsing Road is a short-term respite service providing accommodation for four adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. Despite its potential capacity to host four guests for short stays, occupancy for the past year has been limited to two. Healthwatch Greenwich carried out a visit to understand quality of life, and views of those using the service and the experience and perceptions of relatives and carers.

Located in a beautiful but isolated part of the borough, 167 Lodge Hill is a six-bedroom purpose built care home for individuals with learning disabilities. At the time of our visit, the home was operating at full capacity. Healthwatch Greenwich carried out a visit to understand quality of life, and views of those using the service and the experience and perceptions of relatives and carers.

169 Lodge Hill is a two story, six bed, purpose-built care home for individuals with learning disabilities. The home is located in a peaceful and beautiful area. Currently, it has five residents, with plans for a sixth.
