Bond Charity, the UK network for international development organisations, has raised serious concerns about the shrinking civic space in the UK and its impact on charities and social change.

Harsher anti-protest laws, tone policing of charity campaigns, and restrictions on public scrutiny are a few examples of the crackdown on civic space utilisation in the UK. Restrictions imposed over the previous twelve months are threatening civil society’s core functions in the UK, according to Bond’s first annual UK civic space review this week.  Read more here.
