The Community Ideas Grants fund grants of up to £5,000 for one year projects to smaller community groups, charities and social enterprises who may not have applied for a grant or run a community project before.
Organisations applying for a Community Ideas Grant must have received either grants of less than £10,000 last year, or have an income of less than £50,000, or both. Like the WCGL, the project should encourage people to walk and/or cycle more often and focus on connecting with a diverse range communities which are currently detached. Find out more details here.
