The Greenwich Community Accountancy Programme aims to strengthen the financial capacity and resilience of local voluntary and community organisations. The programme provides tailored one-to-one support, offering customised financial plans and templates to meet each organisation’s needs. It includes regular workshops on budgeting, banking, transaction recording, financial reporting and basic Excel skills, building on successful approaches used in earlier initiatives. The programme also collaborates with development officers and other departments to identify groups requiring support and expands access to a growing digital resource hub featuring simple templates and instructional videos. Through this combined approach, the programme helps organisations of all sizes become more sustainable, effective and confident in delivering services that make a lasting impact across the borough.
