Up to £15,000 is available via the Royal Greenwich Community Energy Fund in four strands focusing on innovation and pre-feasibility development, feasibility and business case development, training and capacity building, and project implementation and delivery.
The Fund supports projects to help supercharge renewable energy and help cut emissions across the borough. The Community Energy Investigation Fund is designed to support early exploratory work that helps community groups assess the potential for future carbon-reducing energy projects, to support the early-stage development of community-led energy projects, to support community-led initiatives that build skills, knowledge, and capability to reduce carbon emissions, and to support projects that reduce carbon emissions and strengthen community resilience to the impacts of climate change.
