This research project from the Race Equality Foundation is seeking participants for a new study called Too Poor to be Sick.
The study explores how experiences of long-term physical and/or mental health conditions affect people’s work, job security, and wellbeing, and how these experiences may differ for people from Global Majority backgrounds. They are currently looking for participants aged eighteen-to-sixty-five who: identify as Black, Asian or from another minoritised ethnic background, and have experience of managing a long-term health condition that has affected their work or ability to stay in employment. All involvement will be confidential, trauma-informed and participant-led. Everyone who takes part will receive a £75 thank-you payment. If you and/or your service users would like to participate, please email Otto Wolf.
