A new report from Cranfield Trust warns that a lack of succession planning could lead to a leadership crisis in small charities.
Only 35% of charities initially expressed confidence in their ability to replace key leaders, with fewer than half improving after support. The issue is compounded by burnout among senior leaders, especially in organisations with incomes under £1 million.
