Most trustees believe that an overall sector strategy should be developed to help improve charity boards and governance, research has found.
A consultation of more than 600 charity chairs, trustees and leaders, run by the Association of Chairs, asked respondents to rank their priorities for building better boards from one (low priority) to 10 (high priority). It found that the development of an overall sector strategy for board improvement was the highest priority, on average, receiving an average rating of 8.6. Read more here.
