Recognising the vital role or the VCS following the Grenfell Tower tragedy and other emergencies, the Government is seeking views on proposals to improve how Category 1 responders (like local authorities, emergency services, and the NHS) collaborate with voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations during emergencies.

Grants of up to £50,000 in total over 3 years available to organisations with an annual income between £10,000 and £250,000 as priority, however, originations with an annual income of up to £1 million can also apply.
Unrestricted and flexible grants of between £500 and £2,000 that can be spent on organisational core costs or wherever most needed, are available to small groups with an annual income under £25,000.
The Heritage Revival Fund offers grants from £5,000 up to £350,000 for feasibility studies, development, and capital works for charities and social enterprises to rescue and repurpose neglected historical buildings, especially in town centres.
Grants of £30,000 - £100,000 are available to support extra work in areas with high rates of anti-social behaviour, helping young people aged 10 – 18 years (or up to 25 with SEND) access safe and positive activities.
