The Director of Public Health's Annual Report 2024 to 2025: Working Together for Fairer, Healthier Lives For All is an independent report focuses on one of the most pressing challenges the Royal Borough of Greenwich is facing as a borough: health inequalities. It explores what health inequalities are; their drivers, who in the borough is most impacted, and how In response, it sets out the Council's approach to achieving health equity at scale.

This year’s report highlights South East London Integrated Care Board's (SEL ICB) progress over the past year in supporting our stakeholders and enhancing service delivery. Key developments include the soft launch of our revamped Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) process, which will be fully implemented in 2025/26 to better support staff and patients while ensuring the needs and voices of all protected groups are considered. Alongside this, we continue to work on our Equality Standards – our Workforce Disability Equality Standard, Workforce Race Equality Standard, and the first year of our Workforce Sexual Orientation Equality Standard, which, while not mandatory for ICBs, provides us with another mechanism through which we can monitor the diversity of our workplace.

In the autumn 2024 and winter 2034 - 2025 working in partnership with a Jungle Green, a marketing research company, we refresh the membership of our South East London People’s Panel aiming to enlarge it to improve outcomes and results when involving members to gather insights and feedback from local people.
